SCA (now Essity) is a global hygiene and health company with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2015, SCA sponsored the only all-female team as part of the Volvo Ocean race, a transoceanic boat race hosted by Volvo. Team SCA was a 65’ yacht skippered by Samantha Davies.
We worked with a local crew based out of Spain to capture all the footage aboard the boat throughout the race and pieced together the narrative back in our edit suite. The resulting video was used to announce the team at the beginning of the race in which they finished 6th.
