Client // Hagerty Drivers Foundation Director // Conor Kelley, Tom Quigley
The mission of the Hagerty Drivers Foundation is to preserve and celebrate America’s automotive culture for future generations. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation has produced and distributed a series of documentaries to tell the history of these legendary automobiles.
Each documentary brings together hundreds of newspaper articles, archival photos, documents, footage, and interviews with experts in the field to weave together a comprehensive and entertaining historical narrative. Maestro Filmworks teamed up with the Hagerty Drivers Foundation to bring these stories to life through post-production and custom animation. For each film, our post and animation teams developed a style guide that referenced and reflected the time period and design of each car.
These animations serve as a powerful tool to engage viewers, unpack complex engineering feats, and direct attention to the key facets of each automobile.
