We’re beyond thrilled to share that on September 20th, 2025, Underdogs officially took home an Emmy Award at this year’s Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Awards.
Our team had the honor of attending the ceremony that weekend, and the night was nothing short of unforgettable. From the excitement in the room to the moment our name was called, it was a reminder of how powerful storytelling can be when community is at its core.
This win is a reflection of the village it took to bring Underdogs to life. A huge thank-you to Connor Barwin and the MTWB Foundation for trusting us to tell this story, and to the coaches and gymnasts of the Vare Gymnastics Team for welcoming us into their world. Your passion and perseverance are what made this film so special.
