Maestro Filmworks is honored to announce a record six Mid-Atlantic Emmy® nominations for the 2026 awards, marking the most nominations the company has received in a single year. In addition, our editor Maria Cantu earned an individual nomination in the Craft: Editor category, recognizing her exceptional storytelling through the art of editing.
This year’s nominated projects include Changing Course (Dir: Shuja Moore) for Documentary, Ancient Egypt and Nubia (Dir: Belinda Fitzpatrick) for Arts & Entertainment: Short Form, Camp Erin for Societal Concerns: Short Form, How Do You Phan? (Dir: Keenan Marshall) and The Cure (Dir: Maria Vattimo) for Commercial Spot, and House Call with Dr. J: Sean’s Story (Dir: Mike Kaiser) for Branded Content.
These nominations bring Maestro’s all-time total to 15 Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations, following nine previous nominations and three Emmy wins, including last year’s award for Best Documentary for Underdogs.
